Peer Sohawa | Daman-e-co


Islamabad is one of the beautiful cities in the world which is also capital of Pakistan. It is the green lush city placed right at the foot of Margalla hills and attached with twin city Rawalpindi. It is now metropolitan city which is equally important for local and international businessmen, politician, tourists, and students. Most of the international flights come to Islamabad on international Islamabad airport. The question is what shall you do while you book flights to Islamabad?
There are several picnic and visit able spots you can cover every destination in maximum two days and if you want to explore the adjacent picnic spots you may pass many days there as those are hilly areas best for family tour and passing vacations. Those areas are under Rawalpindi division and district Maree. First we talk about Islamabad destinations.
There are several spots which are famous to visit which consist of hilly spot, cultural spot, park area, lake area, and many more. All areas are easy accessible you can go there through local transport and by hiring car or van. The passengers other than tourists come to Islamabad are students, businessmen, delegations, and special purpose visit like donation, party, function, artists, and exhibitions.

Peersohawa:
From the F-6 (sector of Islamabad) there is a one way road leads to Peersohawa entire spot is 8 km far from main city the height of picnic spot is 1100 meters roundabout from where you can get a clear view of lush green Islamabad. There are some hotels right there on which Monal hotel is one of the famous hotel. There is little bit parking issue on weal ends due to rush of people especially when weather is cloudy and rainy. Teenagers loves to hangover with friends and colleagues they smoke Shesha and cigarettes on o beautiful peak of peer sohawa. There are two famous villages near peer sohawa Talhar and Gokeena. There is a gulch passes through both of village the water is crystal clear a village's road leads towards water young boys use to swim and camping there in summer. You can also access Maree and Haripur through Peer sohawa although the track is not perfect but it is free of rush.

Daman-e-co:
If you travel towards Peer sohawa there is a spot called daman-e-co. It is famous as a view point in start but gradually it becomes a complete picnic point there is a vast parking are for cars and few cafeterias and open park with green carpeted grass several benches (rounded) also places different areas in Park. There are two viewpoints one is for city view and other is for Rawal lake view. Every person visit to Peer sohawa must stay in Daman-e-co. You can also reach there by hiking a small track starting from the zoo hardly 1 hour needed to reach daman-e-co with feet even women can also hike through this track.
