Faisal Mosque | Bari Imam


Faisal Mosque:
Faisal mosque located at the foot of margalla hills it is the largest mosque of Asia according to its capacity. It is four minaret mosque build by Saudi King Shah faisal who's design is designed by Turkish architecture who have won world best designer award. The mosque consists of 5 portions, main hall, open area or lobby, place for Wudu, pool area, and entrance. The outside consists of four portions, parking area, ground, tomb area, and Dawa academy. 
There are also a hostel campus of Islamic University from where a track leads to Zoo and Daman-e-co. behind the mosque there are dark jungle having animals like, tiger, deer, fox, pig and jackal. The variety of birds are also present right there like, pigeon, parrot, small eagle, owl, and hen. The parking area of mosque is vast; from the 7th avenue of Islamabad you can access it through faisal road.


Bari Imam:
Bari Imam is a religious and Sufism purpose place it is located right at the back of Pakistan parliament house or you can say beside secretariat. People from all over the Pakistan come here for Ziarat and to full fill their desires such as pass in exam, job for jobless, baby for couple and many more. They believe that if they expense some amount in shape of distributing food to the poor in Bari Imam they get faithful reward from ALLAH in shape of their desires become full fill. From there, a track leads to Lo-e-dandi and peer sohawa the track is rocky and meet the track coming from saidpur village. When you reach there you can see lot of cooking shops and small gifts shop thus it provides complete entertainment for family.


Access Islamabad:
For the international tourists there are flights for Islamabad from all over the world in Islamabad airport as it is international airport. For local transport there are two railways and two bus stand which are suitable for domestic travel. Domestic flights can be also available to explore the beauty of Islamabad. Usually all visitors of Pakistan first come to Islamabad especially the political and social circles would like to come in Islamabad due to cast variety of hotel and cleanness of city.

Saidpur Village | Play Land and Zoo


Saidpur Village:
Saidpur village is located right at the foot of Margalla hills. The sector F-6 is adjacent sector to the village. In start it is not so famous and picnic spot but after the government participation this village is become a complete picnic spot. From the F-6 sector Islamabad you can access it by feet it is the nearest place in the city to visit. 
The village is very old where Hindu use to live there are temple and there old houses which are rebuild by the government in shape of tourism. There is a small, sort of museum in which some old things and art gallery is displayed for the visitors it is free of cost to visit. at the right of these museum there is old mansion of Hindu's. Due to rain, weather and care less or tourism ministry but now it become much batter after rebuild.



The local people of village are not financially too much strong their occupations are security guard, driver, peon, typist, driving local transport, small business like general store, and sailing goats. On Eid-ul-Adha there is small animal market organized by local villagers. The houses in the village are not proper established in start those houses was in raw shaped now gradually they are becoming solid but not yet proper build. There are up and downs due to valley of margalla which generate a beautiful view of the village.
When you enter the area of Saidpur village in start there are shops of antique goods and gifts after that there is mosque and parking area there are segmentation due to gulch at the center there are hotels both of sides with traditional style. Those hotels are best for family and gathering of friends. From the village there are trail leads to the picnic place Peer sohawa top of the mountain the track is full of greenery from some place the track is rocky there are also place for rock climbing on this track.


Zoo and Play land:
The nearest places from the Saidpur village is Zoo and Play Land both places are best for family and children which are also easy accessible from main city although there are not very large amount of animal and bird species in the zoo the main species are Lion, tiger, and elephant there are wide variety of bird like parrot and pigeons which attracts the attention of tourists towards it. The play land is also known as Children Park which is specially design for school tours. There are small track behind the children park and the zoo, for hiking, some schools and organization celebrate green day and special day on which they design small walk and plantation on this area. So it is the place which provides complete entertainment and healthy activity to the children.



How Can You Access:
To access Islamabad city from out of country there is international airport brings flights to Islamabad from all over the world. There are two railway stations Rawalpindi and i-9 industrial area stations, two bus stands for local cities Faizabad bus stand and Karachi company bus stand.

Peer Sohawa | Daman-e-co


Islamabad is one of the beautiful cities in the world which is also capital of Pakistan. It is the green lush city placed right at the foot of Margalla hills and attached with twin city Rawalpindi. It is now metropolitan city which is equally important for local and international businessmen, politician, tourists, and students. Most of the international flights come to Islamabad on international Islamabad airport. The question is what shall you do while you book flights to Islamabad?
There are several picnic and visit able spots you can cover every destination in maximum two days and if you want to explore the adjacent picnic spots you may pass many days there as those are hilly areas best for family tour and passing vacations. Those areas are under Rawalpindi division and district Maree. First we talk about Islamabad destinations.
There are several spots which are famous to visit which consist of hilly spot, cultural spot, park area, lake area, and many more. All areas are easy accessible you can go there through local transport and by hiring car or van. The passengers other than tourists come to Islamabad are students, businessmen, delegations, and special purpose visit like donation, party, function, artists, and exhibitions. 

Hilly Spots:
Peersohawa:
From the F-6 (sector of Islamabad) there is a one way road leads to Peersohawa entire spot is 8 km far from main city the height of picnic spot is 1100 meters roundabout from where you can get a clear view of lush green Islamabad. There are some hotels right there on which Monal hotel is one of the famous hotel. There is little bit parking issue on weal ends due to rush of people especially when weather is cloudy and rainy. Teenagers loves to hangover with friends and colleagues they smoke Shesha and cigarettes on o beautiful peak of peer sohawa. There are two famous villages near peer sohawa Talhar and Gokeena. There is a gulch passes through both of village the water is crystal clear a village's road leads towards water young boys use to swim and camping there in summer. You can also access Maree and Haripur through Peer sohawa although the track is not perfect but it is free of rush.

Daman-e-co:
If you travel towards Peer sohawa there is a spot called daman-e-co. It is famous as a view point in start but gradually it becomes a complete picnic point there is a vast parking are for cars and few cafeterias and open park with green carpeted grass several benches (rounded) also places different areas in Park. There are two viewpoints one is for city view and other is for Rawal lake view. Every person visit to Peer sohawa must stay in Daman-e-co. You can also reach there by hiking a small track starting from the zoo hardly 1 hour needed to reach daman-e-co with feet even women can also hike through this track.
